Rev. Dr. E. C. Hines, MTS, MPA, D.Min.

The Eliot Church of Roxbury is blessed to have as our Pastor and First Family, Rev. Dr. E. C. Hines and his high school sweetheart and wife of 17 year, Mrs. Erica Hines.  They are the proud parents of three beautiful girls – Evanna, Ellisha and Erianna. 

Rev. Hines is a native of Boston, graduating from Boston Technical High School and receiving a B.A. from Boston College.  Dr. Hines also holds an MPA from Baruth college, MTS from Boston University and a D.Min. from Northern Baptist Seminary.

Serving and aiding Eliot Church in receiving, embracing, and implementing God’s vision to “Advance the Kingdom” is Dr. Hines’ objective.
He states, “kingdom building requires kingdom thinking, which always begins with prayer.”

ADVANCING THE KINGDOM 
Requires Sharing our Faith:

 F -    Fellowship.  God's word requires believers to stay in fellowship (Hebrews 10:25).

A -    Agreement.  Prayer is the foundation, which requies agreement (Matthew 18:20).

I -     Irrevocable Love.  The greatest commandment is to love (Luke 10:27).

T -    Fundamental bible teaching is essential (Matthew 28:20).

H -    Help.  Help another person come to know Christ (John 3:16).
